With a vibrant art, fashion, food, and music scene, Williamsburg is the world capital of hip and cool. And Bedford Street is at the very center of it. Every day, the sidewalks along this famous thoroughfare are packed with fashion-forward locals and hipsters from Beijing to Berlin who want to be a part of the Brooklyn scene.
Half a block from the L train station, this ground-level storefront (formerly a cookie shop), has high visible on a block with lots of foot traffic with a floor-to- ceiling front window. Inside is sizable for the neighborhood with high tin ceilings, exposed brick, A/C, storage/prep area, and restroom. But the best part of this space the outdoor garden with a pergola.
This part of Williamsburg is constantly busy, and it's easy to get to from Manhattan on the L train or a 10-minute bike ride over the Williamsburg Bridge.
The front area needs a little work where the counter was removed and former tenant’s signage on the walls.
