Bedford Avenue is the place to experience Williamsburg in all of its eclectic, free-spirited glory. In the middle of Williamsburg’s commercial strip, this retail space for rent was previously the home of Spike Hill.

THE CROWD

It's generally a mix of creative types, young professionals and families. Nightlife is a big deal here with Brooklyn Bowl being one of the most popular venues for live music and bowling. Three blocks away, the Music Hall of Williamsburg is another concert hall that draws locals in the evenings. The Bedford Ave L is on the same block, less than a minute walk away.

MEET THE NEIGHBORS

Next door is Dunkin’ Donuts and on the other side is Rosemary’s Greenpoint Tavern, an old-school throwback bar. Across the street is a pizza place. Around the corner on North 9th Street is Rough Trade, a well-known independent record store and music venue.
