Berwick Street has long been associated with fashion and textiles, making it one of Soho's coolest shopping streets. The road is also home to London's oldest food market, reinventing itself as a popular foodie destination. A former yoghurt shop, this shop space to let comes undecorated, with a large basement area.
This street is synonymous with the fashion and design crowd, who come here for the fabric shops and independent boutiques. It’s popular week-round with shoppers escaping Oxford Street and Carnaby in search of cool workwear and vintage. In the week, the street attracts hungry workers from nearby post-production companies and media agencies who know it’s the place to get a more interesting lunch or dinner than Wardour Street.
Nudie Jeans and contemporary menswear label, Universal Works (next door) have brought cachet to an area that's also become a launchpad for independent restaurants like Tabun Kitchen and Tombo poké and matcha bar. Supreme is round the corner, attracting a hoard of fans on Thursday's drop day.
Only available until January 2018.
No alcohol license.
There are a few visible plug sockets and electrical appliances on the walls, but they can be easily covered up with well-placed furnishings and fixtures.
