The hub of London’s hipster scene, Brick Lane has a buzz about it all week round as tourists, the fashion-conscious and creatives flock here to shop, eat, drink and soak up its unique vibe. Located above a corner restaurant at the Aldgate end of the street, this newly-refurbished, well-lit first floor and basement space is available to hire for events and exhibitions.
Hipsters, tourists and hungry diners of all ages come to Brick Lane for its independent shops, bars and famous collection of Bengali restaurants. Home to more restaurants and bars than shops, this end of the road is livelier in the evenings, but with Aldgate East station and the Whitechapel Gallery three minutes’ walk away, it’s never completely quiet here.
There’s a William Hill betting shop next door, and two doors down is The Famous Moonlight Indian restaurant. A few doors away, The Archers pub is popular with tourists, locals and cool kids alike.
No noise after 11pm.
A3 use with extraction.
Changes to the space must be approved by the Landlord beforehand.
This end of Brick Lane is not as busy as it is around Truman Brewery and towards Bethnal Green Road.
