Not only the primary shopping destination for Bristol, Cabot Circus is also a retail hub that serves the South West. Surrounded by the rich heritage of Broadmead and Quakers Friars, Cabot Circus is a modern shopping centre that stands out for its unique glass roofed architecture. Outside on Merchant street there’s a glass-front shop to rent with a big stock room.

Typically, the weekend is busiest with Saturday’s having shoppers from 12pm until 6pm. People travel in from South West regions to explore the shops here and lap up the tourist sites like Bristol Castle. Retail exploits range from the high end Harvey Nichols to high street favourites H&M and Next serving both the affluent adults and student populations. There’s easy access to Bristol Temple Meads train station.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS

Either side you’ll find Specsavers and TSB bank with a TK Maxx a bit further down. Down Philadelphia street is the chic, upmarket area known as Quakers Friars - so named because of the historic ruins of the Dominican friary found here. Ted Baker, Hugo Boss and Harvey Nichols are some of the shops down here along with the restaurants Carluccios and Brasserie Blanc.
