THE CROWD

During the week, Grand Street is crowded with open-air Chinese markets selling authentic ingredients to both tourists and locals. On weekends, dim sum restaurants like Jing Fong and Nom Wah Tea Parlor are consistently packed with people enjoying an afternoon lunch. At night, places like Sel Rrose and Clandestino are popular haunts for a good cocktail. The Grand Street B/D is one block up and the Canal Street subway station is an 8-minute walk.
