Aperçu

Formerly home to neighborhood-favorite Berkli Parkcafe, this shop to let on Delancey Street combines the rustic feel of a wooden cabin with the sleek aesthetics of a modern city. Spacious and filled with natural light, it is a coveted spot surrounded by Lower East Side’s most popular bars, restaurants and boutiques.

THE CROWD

The area is a great alternative to the tourist-overrun SoHo neighborhood. Boasting the same, if not a bigger amount of diverse eateries – from refined Jewish restaurants like Russ & Daughters Cafe to New York’s staples like Spicy Village – it is also rich with Prohibition-inspired speakeasies, such as Attaboy, Fig. 19 and Back Room. The crowd mostly consists of affluent locals as well as visitors looking to experience the “hidden” gems of Big Apple.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS

Next door is an unassuming tobacco store as well as a bicycle shop. A few doors down, Petee’s Pie serves an overwhelming variety of classic and modern pies, coffee and other baked goods. Across the street you will find the historic Tenement Museum. Being located at the intersection of Delancey and Allen streets guarantees heavy foot traffic throughout the day. There is easy access from Delancey, Essex and Grand Street subway stations.

Bon à savoir

The space used to be a cafe so it still has some of its old fittings. You'll have to strip the space if you want a blank canvas for your idea.
