Deptford Market Yard Market is hosted in the main yard outside Deptford Station. Cobblestones, listed railway arches, space to hang out, and an intriguing array of independent traders selling their wares to locals and visitors – Deptford Market Yard is a thriving and proud part of SE8.
This weekly market will run fortnightly on a Saturday from 10am - 4pm. The focus is on local vendors, their offerings and maximising the opportunity to increase sales.
Markets are the easiest and most cost-efficient way to get your brand out there. With a ready-made audience and relatively little design-time needed, markets allow you to quickly set-up and start selling.

The stall is available from 9am - 6pm every Saturday in Deptford Market Yard. Operating hours (10am - 4pm) must be strictly adhered to.
Set up time is between 9am and 10am. Pitches are on a first come first served basis (after 9.30). Set down time is strictly between 4 and 6pm.
Retailers will be provided with a market stall, table and cover.
Power is not available so provisions must be made.
Unloading can be done on Deptford High Street at risk of the tenant. There is no facility for unloading or vehicular access to the yard.
Rent is inclusive of a £10 stall set up and take down fee, meaning brands can turn up and trade without doing any of the heavy lifting.
Visual merchandising must be to a high quality and stock must be attractively displayed.
Deptford Market Yard (DMY) / Appear Here staff have final sign off on stall design - this may include asking you to rearrange or remove certain products.
Pitch locations are allocated by the landlord and DMY/Appear Here staff. These are not permanent and therefore may be subject to change.
Market stalls and hanging signs must be returned in the condition provided. Tenants will be liable for any damages/missing signs including over and above the deposit fee (£100).
Stall must not be left unattended at any time, this means two persons are required to trade.
Any electrics must be compliant with all regulations and must be PAT tested.
Traders using electricity, gas cylinders, cooking or other equipment that have the potential to cause a fire are to bring their own fire fighting equipment including fire blanket, dry powder fire extinguisher, substantial oil proof matting and a first aid kit.
Traders must keep stalls today and clear of rubbish at all times. Excess stock must be kept out of sight.
All waste must be disposed of in the bin room towards the north side of the market.
If any trader is found to be in breach of any of the above terms they will be asked to leave site immediately and their deposits and other rents paid will not be refunded. Depending on the severity of the breach may be excluded from future bookings.
