The variety of business in the East Village continues to be eclectic and receptive to the countercultural. It attracts the wealthy and sophisticated, but especially those who prefer alternative art and culture. This shop space has great exposure from E. 9th St. and its proximity to Tompkins Square Park on Ave. A.
Young professionals and artistic and countercultural types are drawn to unique bars and restaurants in the area. Weekend nights have the heaviest footfall. Tompkins Square Park brings out families and local residents.
You’ll be between Devorado, a vintage clothing store, and Doc Holliday’s, a roadhouse style bar. Across the street is Poke N’ Roll, an Asian raw fish restaurant, and Gelarto, an ice cream shop. Tompkins Square Park is at the end of the block. 1 Ave. Station is four blocks away.
