A world of blends awaits visitors at Good & Proper Tea, Clerkenwell. This Leather Lane hangout is permanent home to Emilie and her team of loose-leaf aficionados, who themselves have been popping up around the country in a mobile van since 2012. Here every brew has been specially selected and lovingly prepared, in a serene setting with exposed brickwork and warm wood finishes.
The space is available for evening event, corporate gatherings, or supper club ideas. There’s a kitchen downstairs, but no fitted extraction, so you won’t be able to cook on site. But you will be able to prep and serve a taste of your idea in a tranquil yet contemporary central London space.
There’s seating at the front, a serving area towards the back and toilets and plus a kitchen downstairs. Setting up and taking down should be a breeze. Chancery Lane and Farringdon stations are about 5 minutes walk from the space.

PRICES
Monday-Saturday: £200/day + VAT.
Sunday: £300/day + VAT.
HOURS
Monday-Friday: Available from 6pm onwards.
Saturday: Available from 5pm onwards.
Sunday: All day.
Bon à savoir
There’s no extraction in the kitchen, so food will need to be cooked off site.
Currently seats 28, but capacity can be increased to 35-40 with additional chairs. Standing capacity for 40-50 people.
The wall at the back can be rented as a gallery. Ask your concierge for more information.
