THE CROWD

Gowanus might be a small neighborhood, but it’s home to two fantastic breweries (Threes Brewing and Strong Rope), a Whole Foods, and a bunch of awesome bars and restaurants like the Canal Bar and Pig Beach BBQ that pack out on weekends. There’s a great mix of locals and newcomers, and the D and NRW trains are one block away, making it easy to get to and from.
