You'll spot Great Windmill Street just behind Piccadilly Circus, and this Soho road enjoys a pretty cool history. Karl Marx once visited a pub over the road, and in the 1960s nearby Ham Yard hosted gigs by the likes of The Who and the Rolling Stones. Today the area is home to the renowned Ham Yard hotel and a plethora of independent stores like Jac + Jack, Bloomsbury Flowers, Press Juice Bar and Dinosaur Designs. Formerly a bar, this space has a unique fit out, with a terracotta tiled floor, large counter, and slick white tiles. The large glass frontage with windows that open fully onto the street, make this shopfront especially eye catching to passers by.
Ham Yard and Great Windmill Street act as a portal to village life for shoppers, businessmen and guests from the Ham Yard Hotel – a lot of which are exclusive customers. There are usually more people stopping by on this street in the afternoons and early evenings with after-work browsers, diners and drinkers.
Opposite is a Be @ One Bar, The Windmill Theatre and you'll be close to Folk clothing. Become a part of the exciting revival of Soho as a thrilling shopping destination.
