Hell’s Kitchen is the place to go for people looking to escape the tourist traps of Times Square and Midtown. The area has seen a recent revival, and is now home to many theaters and restaurants, as well as this great gallery and event space for rent on the eighth floor.
Replacing Chelsea as the trendiest gay-friendly scene, Hell’s Kitchen is full of spots that attract in-the-know foodies as well as clubbers. Nearby restaurants Il Baretto and La Bergamote bring people in for lunch and dinner, and the Ardesia Wine Bar attracts a later evening crowd. The 50th Street subway is a 10-minute walk away.
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah films a block away, and the ART New York Theaters and the 52nd Street Project bring in a smart crowd. Columbus Circle, Central Park, the Javits Center, and Times Square are all within a 15-minute walk.
No premises or alcohol licence. Brands have to acquire these themselves.
Brands can decorate the space and walls but not renovate. The space must be left as found.
There are no windows, but there is plenty of overhead lighting.
This space is on the eighth floor, and you can access it through a large freight elevator.
