Overlooking Regents Canal, this striking warehouse building is an eight-minute walk from Haggerston station and less from Kingsland Road’s buzzing bar and dining scene. Originally used as a coal storage facility, the space’s exposed brick walls, concrete floors and high gantry roof will provide a cool, industrial-style backdrop to whatever you’re planning, whether it’s an experiential event, exhibition, product launch, photo shoot or party.
Haggerston is home to a young creative community, especially around the studios and galleries scattered along the canal, and to City and Canary Wharf commuters taking advantage of the nearby Overground line. Apart from a school, video production company and Cafédirect’s London offices and roastery, it’s mainly residential around here, so it can be pretty quiet.
You’ll be near Bullion Productions, who’ve made music videos for the likes of Jack White, Janelle Monáe and Slaves, and shows for Vice and BBC Three. The London Tea Company and Cafédirect are around the corner.
No painting of the brickwork.
The venue does not have an alcohol license but the landlords are willing to apply for a temporary events notice.
Please note that a damage deposit of £1000 (or more depending on the length of the hire) is required when hiring this space.
VAT is applicable on the total price when hiring this space.
The £5k quote is for 1 room, the full venue being used for dinner & evening party would be £10k.
This isn’t exactly a central location, but a great option for an East London event.
