King Edward Street runs from City Hall towards the north of the city of Hull, offering visitors easy amenities and a place to grab a bite to eat or catch up over coffee. This empty space is in need of a new idea – fill it with something promising the locals will love.

The glass entrance needs cleaning and rebranding, and inside it’s a long rectangular space with wood flooring and strip lighting. Out the back is a small kitchenette and toilet, plus a little storage space. There is some fixed shelving on one side of the space. The fixtures and features are basic and minimal, but there’s lots to work with if you’ve got a good idea ready. A salon, fashion boutique or gift shop would great in this location.

There’s parking space available north on Story Street, plus local bus routes running in both directions outside the space.
