From drag bars and rockabilly salons to burger joints and speakeasies, the Kingsland Road is varied. Walk from Shoreditch to Stoke Newington and you’ll also pass landmarks like the Geffrye Museum, Rio Cinema and Ridley Road market. Near Regent’s Canal, Curio Cabal coffee shop is available for rent and features plenty of seating inside and out.

THE CROWD

On weekdays there’s a trickle of workers and students heading out locally for coffee or lunch. In the evening, more people head up from Shoreditch to check out bars and restaurants along Kingsland Road. Most passers-by live, work and play in this area - it’s their stomping ground.
