Aperçu

This little street in Kensington is surrounded by a few of London’s most elegant and affluent residential addresses. In between Kensington’s grand estates and boutique hotels, this former Persian restaurant with original features is now available for rent as a retail space. The Landlord is happy for it to be renovated to suit more of a traditional retail concept.

THE CROWD

West London’s well-heeled and sophisticated families stay in the nearby townhouses and 3-star boutique hotels. It’s a typical residential street so it’s a little quiet in the day, especially on Mondays and Sundays when a few of the surrounding shops shut. The salon next door is where mums go in between errands, and restaurants like Cibo (Italian) and Alounak (Persian) attract an after-work crowd until late. The established Blagclub on the corner draws a younger crowd on Fridays and Saturdays.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS

On one side is Jamie Stevens salon, the five-time British hairdresser of the year nominee and hairdresser-in-residence for The X Factor, and on the other is a well-respected physiotherapy practice in Kensington. The Persian restaurant, Alounak, has moved two doors down from this spot. Opposite, you’ll see the Embassy of Georgia, and upmarket Italian restaurant, Cibo.

Bon à savoir

This used to be a restaurant but the Landlord would like for it to be used as more of a traditional retail space. The kitchen at the back of the space is non-functional and will be locked up.
