London’s first ever department store, Whiteleys, is a striking, Grade II listed building set in a chic, West London postcode. Once a shopping destination for affluent locals, in recent years the centre has seen much regeneration. Whiteleys is continually being updated with great food & drink outlets, leisure facilities, and of course, exciting new shops.
This space sits opposite the popular Marks & Spencer store. Previously a Vision Express, it’s big with an unusual layout – featuring lots of small rooms formerly used for consultations. Think about how best to maximise this space for your retail idea. Downstairs, there are several more small rooms that can be adapted for storage and office space. There are also toilets and a kitchen.
There are two Tube stations less than 5 minutes’ walk away from here, plus plenty of buses in and out of central London.
