A sister site to Netil House, Hackney Downs Studios is a hub of co-working spaces, studios and independent shops where designers, makers, artists and freelancers come to work every day. THE CROWD

Around 300 people work and run their businesses inside Hackney Down Studios, and as the main on-site eatery there’s a good chance you’ll see a lot of them. The Well Garden brings in a yoga-loving, health-conscious crowd in the mornings and after work, and the likes of El Garito tapas bar are starting to draw in evening diners and drinkers. Saturdays are by far the busiest as locals and folk from further afield come to check out the weekly vegan market (one of London's top vegan destinations) – worth bearing in mind when you draw up your menu! Rectory Road station is a five-minute walk away.
