The Meatpacking District is a Jekyll and Hyde neighborhood - boutique shopping and cafe hopping during the day, and late-night clubbing after dark. This pop-up retail shop for rent is on West 14th Street and would also be a great space for a photo shoot.
THE CROWD
With stores like Arhaus, Patagonia, and Sephora, the area definitely attracts an upscale shopping crowd during weekdays and weekends. The Gansevort Hotel and the Whitney Museum stick to the theme of the high-brow neighborhood. If you stay open into the evening you can expect plenty of people dressed to the nines looking for things to do before heading to the clubs and bars. The ACE and L trains at 8th Ave are a couple minutes away, connecting you easily to the rest of the city.
MEET THE NEIGHBORS
Neighbors include Lilla P, Levi’s, and Lululemon, with Rag & Bone, AllSaints, and Cool Change on the same block as well. Fig & Olive, The Standard, and Brass Monkey are a few minutes away, and Chelsea Market is a block to the north, with all its amazing shops and restaurants.
