Aperçu

Noho has a reputation for its eclectic blend of art-school creatives and wealthy loft-dwellers. In a historic corner of Great Jones Street is this famous landmarked building, once the studio and home to both Basquiat and Warhol. This shop to rent is on the ground floor, and comes with an unfinished backroom and storage closet.

THE CROWD

Great Jones Street and the surrounding businesses offer a little bit of everything. Art school kids attending Cooper Union go to La Colombe for a bite and a coffee in between classes. Around the corner, B Bar Grill is a popular bar scene, especially on the weekends. For something a little more upscale, Il Buco is a popular Italian restaurant. There’s an endless number of boutiques and stores to visit including the long-running Filson and the popular yoga-centric fashion store, Lululemon. The Broadway-Lafayette station and Bleecker Street 6 are three blocks away.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS

You’ll be sharing hallways with the referral-only restaurant Bohemian. On the other side of you is a home decoration store called Future Perfect. Across the street is the Great Jones Cafe and further down the way is The Wren, a popular bar and restaurant.

Bon à savoir

This is a landmark building (Basquiat lived and died here) so no changes can be made to the storefront.

The location is fantastic but the space itself needs some love and care. Especially the unfinished backroom area.
