Sitting pretty in Zone 2, but feeling like a world away from the city, Parsons Green’s thriving café culture, green spaces and old-fashioned pubs give this south-west London neighbourhood plenty of village-like charm. A couple of minutes from the green that gives the area its name, this small shop to let is white-boxed and ready to go, and has a large display window to help you catch the attention of passersby. THE CROWD

Like neighbouring Chelsea and Fulham, Parsons Green is a hit with well-heeled families and young couples. During the week you’ll see mums doing the school run and lunching at the California-inspired Hally’s or its younger sibling, Little H. And with more yoga and Pilates studios in the area than you can shake a stick at, you’re sure to see a fair few health-conscious locals. Brunch and a browse around the shops are a weekend ritual here, meaning Saturdays and Sundays will be your busiest days. Parsons Green tube is a five-minute walk.
