Aperçu

Queens Crescent is one of the oldest markets in London, and of its 90 stalls, many have been in the same family for generations. The market is less focused on trading with tourists than its close cousin, Camden Market, is. Catering to the local community instead, Queens Crescent currently only opens on Thursdays and Saturdays.

It has an authentic, charming atmosphere and is great for food: from fresh fruit and vegetables, to olives and bread - there's also a local butcher and a florist. Visitors can also pick up jewellery, clothing, household items and everything in between. A selection of stalls are now available to rent. And ideas that give locals something they can’t get on the high street (or down the road in Camden) will do well here. This is a place where quirky ideas and new or family businesses can find a natural home.

From the market, it’s a 6-minute walk to Chalk Farm Tube station. Primrose Hill is also a short walk away.

Les règles à suivre

Brands are required to provide proof of their Public Liability Insurance and (if applicable) a Food Hygiene Certificate when submitting a booking request.

Once approved by the Landlord for the market, brands must complete a street trading licence application form with all supporting documents before they are allowed to trade. The form can be accessed here.

£20 + VAT per day
Plus a mandatory one off registration cost of £57.75 that covers casual trading across the borough of Camden for one year.
Please note that the minimum trading period for this space is five days. However, the days do not have to be booked consecutively, and can be spread out over a number of weeks if availability allows.

Closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day

Market hours are 7am - 7pm (this includes set up and set down time). Brands must be set up before 10am and be offsite by 7pm. Trading space must be packed down and cleared every night.

Water and electricity are available at this site.

Pitch sizes are 4x2m. No stalls/tables are provided, and stall design must be approved by the landlord.

Bon à savoir

This market is not as busy or popular with tourists as nearby Camden Market, and caters more to the local community.
