Once a vital part of Glasgow’s industrial past, Speirs Wharf’s refineries and warehouses have been converted into offices, apartments, creative studios and performance spaces. Housed within a striking historic building, this light and bright supper club space to rent comes with a kitchen area and large open dining space, as well as an area for outside seating on the banks of the Forth and Clyde canal.
This beautiful cafe is on the ground floor of an apartment complex, and the stretch of canal outside is home to a small houseboat community. Next-door, the award-winning Ocho Spa attracts people looking for some pampering from Monday through Saturday, and is open until 8pm on Thursdays and Fridays. Cowcaddens subway station is a five-minute walk away.
The centre of creativity that is The Whisky Bond — seven floors of offices, studios and co-working spaces — is less than 10 minutes’ walk along the waterside. The Scottish Opera is across the canal, and the area is also home to the Glasgow Sculpture Studios and the National Theatre of Scotland’s new headquarters, turning Speirs Wharf into a blossoming cultural quarter.
The Space is ideal for Supper Clubs - For 1 night to 3 night durations.
The Space holds a full alcohol licence.
Brands must present appropriate Food Safety Certification for all events.
Space has capacity for 25 people.
The kitchen has no gas supply, but fully functioning electrical cooking facilities.
The cobblestone street outside is fairly quiet, but some strategically placed signs could attract plenty of potential customers from the surrounding offices, studios and cultural attractions.
