While Stoke Newington Church Street is where N16’s well-heeled residents shop for designer clothes and high-end homewares, it’s Stoke Newington High Street that locals head to for their everyday needs. Here you’ll find chain stores rubbing shoulders with a collection of long-running local businesses, independent shops and cool eateries. The open plan ground floor of this white boxed space is the ideal blank canvas for a brand looking to move straight in. The stairs lead to a basement which is sound proofed making it perfect for live music events and parties. The landlord is very supportive of the local community and it's charities and is open to discussing all possible ideas for the space.
Home to the likes of Mint Vintage, Original Sin and Pizzeria Apollo, Stoke Newington High Street attracts a cooler, younger crowd than Church Street. However, this is a busy stretch that serves everyone in the area, as well as attracting folk from nearby Dalston and further afield. The road’s busy bars and pubs mean that evenings are pretty lively, too. Rectory Road station is an eight-minute walk away.
You’ll be in between The Rochester Arms, a popular pub for centuries, and crafts shop Ultimate Craft. Opposite are Sports Direct and Rouge, you are surrounded by household brands and interesting independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and you’ll be near the 30-year-old Stoke Newington Bookshop.
LF Markey launched it’s new label Meadows here with a month long pop-up in June 2019.
This space has no minimum booking duration.
