Central Street connects creative Clerkenwell – with its ad agencies and thriving pub scene – to popular Angel and Islington. It’s also a shortcut to Old Street, home to the city’s top tech start-ups. Among working offices, there’s a mish-mash of chip shops, bars as well as a cookery school. The Alchemist tea and coffee house is renting out part of their space – it's a separate room, attached and accessed through their tea room.

THE CROWD

This area is at its busiest on week nights. Groups of young creative professionals working in the offices nearby head out into the night looking for great food, drink and a chance to relax after hours.
