No longer just a transport hub, Kings Cross is now a destination in itself thanks to major redevelopment and additions such as Granary Square and the soon-to-be-opened Coal Drops Yard. Opposite the Central St Martins campus, this white-boxed contemporary art gallery is available to hire for events and pop-up retail, and comes with a main area, smaller room and kitchen at the back with some storage space.
THE CROWD
With Central St Martins over the road, you’ll see a fair few art, design and fashion students here. Granary Square is a popular spot especially during the summer months when its fountains and al fresco dining options attract families, tourists and travellers using Kings Cross station – a ten-minute walk away. Health-conscious customers flock to the gym opposite, especially in the mornings, and The Star of Kings Cross pub a few doors away is popular with students and locals at weekends and in the evenings.
