THE CROWD
The area is now home to a cosmopolitan community of locals, young professionals and creatives. You’ll see students heading to and from Queen Mary University (which houses a huge residential campus). Over the years, plenty of young professionals have also moved in making use of the cheaper rents, especially with popular Bethnal Green close by. This part of Mile End Road is busiest during early evenings and on weekends with locals visiting the nearby restaurants and the famous arthouse cinema, Genesis.
