Bed-Stuy is often given the label of being an emerging neighborhood, but everything that makes it a such a unique area can be found on Marcus Garvey Blvd. From the distinctive 19th century architecture to the mom and pop shops that dot the landscape, this pop-up (or retail) shop for rent is an empty space waiting to be taken over with your idea.
While Bed-Stuy isn’t known for being a tourist destination, like the rest of Brooklyn, the neighborhood is quickly changing. You’ll spot hipsters buying an espresso and a house plant at Bohaus, or find locals having dinner at the Royal Rib House – a neighborhood staple for the past 50 years. The area is most popular on the weekends with many of the residents going out to the nearby restaurants and lounges. The Kingston-Throops Av station is about a 5 minute walk away.
This space sits in between a yoga studio and a contemporary art gallery. Across the street is TreeHouse BK, a bar and grill that turns into a dance lounge late night. Three blocks away is Peaches Hot House, a popular restaurant specializing in southern classics.
