York train station is a key transport hub: connecting passengers with Scotland, London and other cities across the UK. This beautiful city itself attracts 6.7 million visitors a year, so there will be plenty of people to talk to when you introduce your idea here.
There are six promotional spaces available in the entrance of the station. Great for serving food and snacks, flowers and other handy treats or amenities. When a few stalls pitch up it will feel a bit like a mini market, but some days it could just be you trading.
Stallholders will need to bring their own set-up or stall and you can trade 7 days a week. Think about the crowd you want to reach and plan to introduce your brand to people on the go.

Les règles à suivre
Tenants must bring their own stand and equipment - nothing is provided by the landlord (including power or water). The space must be cleared by the tenant at the end of the tenancy, with all rubbish removed from the site.
You must attend a mandatory safety briefing with station staff prior to your first day of trading. Please ask your concierge for station management details to arrange this - this cannot be conducted on your first day of trading.
You are not permitted to set up for trading between the hours of 07.00 – 09.30am.
Any trader using a vehicle to unload from must be off site by 7am. If you breach this or if you are late then you will not be permitted to unload on to the forecourt.
Please ensure you have a copy of your up to date public liability insurance, hygiene certificate, PAT testing certificates and Fire equipment certificates on your person at all times. These are mandatory to trade.
The pitch size will be a maximum of 2m x 2m and may be reduced in depth to 1m when more than one pitch is booked.

Hot food can be served here, but only if it doesn’t product smoke or steam inside the station.
There must be a retail element to your offering - Promotional only events wont be permitted.
