The VP of Eastpak, Massimo Ferrucci commented, “we are so excited to be delivering this new concept pop-up store to London, the real centre of Europe for all things forward-thinking. It offers us the opportunity to tell our brand heritage story in a new and innovative way.”

By focusing the in-store design on digital technology, Eastpak are looking to change their target consumers perception of what Eastpak stands for. They are using this concept store as a test-bed to measure the total consumer experience. Over the next 18 months, key insights from the project will be used to help them roll out key elements of this in-store technology to their global network network of multi-brand retailers.

Some of the exciting digital innovations you’ll find in-store include the Perch Interactive product table (never before used in the UK.) The table will is a digital showcase for the Eastpak products and allows visitors to browse through the lifelike visuals.

There will also be touch screen pads throughout the store where shoppers can select their perfect bags from an exclusive selection of pre-released prodcuts. Making sure their customer service is as seamless as the technology, Eastpak are offering a complimentary 24 hr express service on UK delivery for any products unavailable to buy in store.

Although the store is primarily focussed on digital experiences, Eastpak are also using local artists to engage the surrounding community. Inside the store a tunnel has been built that will be illustrated by a local artist Richard Fairhead, who will add to this ever evolving artwork for the duration of the store.
