A walk down Brick Lane is a feast for all the senses, especially on Sundays when the street’s many markets are open for business. Near the junction of Brick Lane and Fournier Street, this large space is an opportunity to introduce your F&B or retail concept to this buzzing area. As well as a basement kitchen and ground floor seating and serving areas, there are two upper floors available at an additional cost, too.

THE CROWD

There’s a blend of cultures and ages here, and a strong community vibe between the market traders, business owners and Brick Lane’s fashion-conscious, creative crowd. Weekdays are quieter than weekends, when tourists and locals flock to the markets. Evenings (especially towards the end of the week) can get lively as Brick Lane’s restaurants and pubs pull in post-work diners and drinkers. Nearby, Mooshies remains one of London’s favourite vegan burger bars.

Next door, Arzu serves up samosas, pakoras and other Indian snacks to take away. Opposite you’ve got the provocatively named barbershop, The Hairy Bastard.

A discounted rate may be available if the Landlord is able to keep the use of the kitchen.

This space has no alcohol licence, just an A3 licence.

The Landlord will be responsible for equipment breakages/repairs for the first month of tenancy. The brand will be responsible for damages from then onwards (extraction excluded).

All staff must behave in a reasonable way and commit to treating equipment professionally and with care.

The space is available to rent for a minimum of one month.

Redecoration and renovation is only allowed for longer bookings.

Bon à savoir

The landlord is open to a shop share and a reduced rate if you don't need to use the kitchen.

If you'd like to rent the two upper floors as well as the ground and basement, this would be available at an additional cost.

You’ll be towards the slightly quieter end of Brick Lane where there are already quite a lot of F&B businesses.
