This space is on the ground floor of a 99-year-old building that was once home to one of the city’s biggest silk merchants Fleitmann & Company. The facade is brick and cast iron with stunning features like arched windows and whimsical figural sculptures.
Inside the space is immense. And it gets lots of light from the massive windows at the front and the recessed and track lighting. The white and wood-floored central area is airy and welcoming with high ceilings held up by original cast-iron columns.
Today the building is host to many street-level shops from an eyewear store to one of Soho’s most famous denizens, Anna Sui’s boutique. There’s always lots of foot traffic thanks to the neighborhood’s popularity and easy access via many trains within a few block radius.
