As well as being the site of the famous market that bears its name, Druid Street has become home to a collection of breweries, bakeries and bars that have helped make Bermondsey one of London’s greatest food and drink destinations. The nearby Southwark Brewing Company, and several more Druid Street microbreweries, are on the Bermondsey Beer Mile, so expect to see a fair few craft beer enthusiasts around at the weekends, and a local, post-work crowd on weekday evenings. London Bridge station is a 13-minute walk, and Bermondsey station is 11 minutes away.
