Right by the Barbican and Liverpool Street and Worship Street’s busy bar scene, you’ll find Finsbury Square – the largest green space in the City. Around the corner from this Grade II listed garden is Finsbury Pavement and this large shop space to rent (a former cafe) for all kinds of retail concepts.
Expect plenty of City workers throughout the week, but you could also see tourists and a creative crowd filtering down from nearby Shoreditch. Mornings and lunchtimes are especially busy as workers grab coffees and lunch en route to Finsbury Square, but there’s still plenty of life in the evenings as the All Bar One over the road and the rooftop Aviary Bar in the square itself fill up. Moorgate station is a three-minute walk away.
Starbucks is on one side and Gap is on the other. Wasabi a few doors down also attracts a lot of the nearby work crowd.
The exterior is covered in scaffolding and the interior isn't visually pleasing yet, but this space is right in the middle of the City with plenty of footfall throughout the working week.
This used to be a cafe, so you'll need to do a bit of renovating to turn it into a retail space.
