Founded by John Paul Scott, SALT Borough emphasises inclusivity, team wellness, and a refined aesthetic. The space is frequently used for fashion shoots, editorials, and room rentals, offering a dynamic backdrop for creative projects. Designed by the industry-leading Unknown Works, the salon features a custom-built floor-to-ceiling sound system by Friendly Pressure, a bar serving barista coffee and natural wines, and stylists drawn from the world of fashion. Views over Borough Market add to the unique energy, making this a stylish, adaptable space for shoots, events, or experiential activations.

There are no kitchen facilities aside from the bar area, and—other than the staff room—there is no disability access. The floor-to-ceiling sound system and steel cassette wall are permanent features. The salon spans three floors, offering multiple levels for shoots or events.

Les règles à suivre
The hirer is responsible for any damage caused to the premises, furniture, fixtures, fittings, or equipment during their hire period. This includes damage caused by guests, contractors, or anyone acting on behalf of the hirer.
2. Condition of the Space
Furniture must not be moved without prior agreement. The space must be left in the same condition as it was at the start of the hire. The music amps and speakers should not be touched at any point. Any rubbish, decorations, or materials brought in must be removed by the hirer at the end of the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Reporting of Damage
Any damage or incident must be reported to SALT Salon management as soon as it occurs, or immediately after the event.
4. Damage Includes
Scratches to stainless steel, cracks or chips in mirrors, chipping of paint, scratches / marks on walls, damage to furniture / equipment, heat damages to glass / mirrors / steel, broken or damaged glassware / mugs, damage to any lights / electrics / electronic devices.
4. Costs of Repairs
SALT Salon will assess and arrange for any necessary repairs or replacements. The hirer agrees to cover all reasonable costs associated with the damage.
All repair or replacement costs must be paid in full within 30 days of receiving an invoice from SALT Salon Limited.
5. Liability
SALT Salon (Borough) Limited is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to the hirer’s property or personnel during the hire period. The hirer is encouraged to have appropriate insurance in place for their event.
