Once a drapery shop, in the early 20th century Whiteleys became London’s first ever department store – pre-dating its later rival, Selfridges. Now housed in Bayswater, West London, Whiteleys has a bowling alley, cinema, plus stores like H&M, Ernest Jones and GAP.

The centre is a grand and palatial Grade II-listed building. Inside, this retail space can be found opposite Hallmark and Marks & Spencer.
