NOLA Cafe is a minimalist, design-led cafe serving specialty coffee and all-day brunch that opened during the height of the pandemic by two musicians, Anthony and Josephine. They spent the last 6 years touring the world in their band Oh Wonder, and loved waking up in a new city each day and using coffee as a way to not only explore, but anchor themselves.

Kudu Collective is a family-run group of restaurants, cocktail bar, gallery and private dining room throughout Peckham. Their fourth spot, Kudu Grill, in Nunhead opened this month, and their cocktail bar, Smokey Kudu, is a favorite hidden gem among locals.

The Odds is a 100% vegan eatery, natural wine shop, cheesemonger and fermentary. Their roster of dairy free cheeses are unmatched, and their sandwiches and pastries are designed perfectly for plant-based diets.

Oru Space is a workspace, cafe and wellness destination in East Dulwich. The beautifully designed space is carefully cultivated for artistic expression: visual, music, literature and anything else.

Louie Louie, the all-day cafe, restaurant and bar in Walworth features resident guest chefs and DJs in the evenings, and brunch on weekends. Of course.

Copeland Gallery is an independent event and gallery space with underground art exhibitions. Next door, you’ll also find What The Fattoush, a plant-based Palestinian food restaurant - the founders actually learnt to cook the dishes from refugees in camps around Europe.

Good as Gold is a specialty coffee shop with industrial chic interiors and great avo toast. The founders, Tom and Anthony, had a concession in Fitzrovia, but “unfortunately due to the pandemic, and the city turning into a ghost town, we decided to move to our adopted neighbourhood of Brockley.”
